Before traveling to Ethiopia to film, Brooke met up with Carabiner Coffee in Boulder, Colorado. Erik Gordon wanted to keep the "connected cup" idea going by sharing a bag of his signature coffee beans "DREAM" with someone special in Ethiopia. Brooke gifted the coffee beans to a hairstylist in Lalibela, Ethiopia during her stay....
The woman pictured helped Brooke get ready for the Ashendiye Festival and was a special part of the experience in Lalibela. She told Brooke the next day that she dedicated her prayers that morning to Erik at Carabiner Coffee. Ameseginalu.
